What Happens If I Don't Close the APOP Door?

To complete a purchase successfully, the APOP door must be closed. The transaction remains active until the door is closed and the system can process the products removed.

It is very important to properly close the APOP door when you finish your purchase.

The transaction remains active until the door is closed and the system detects that the shopping session has ended. While the door remains open, the purchase cannot be processed or completed.

Why Is It Important to Close the Door?

  • It allows the transaction to be completed correctly.

  • It starts the processing of the products removed.

  • It allows the purchase details and corresponding charge to be generated.

  • It helps protect the products remaining inside the APOP.

Important

Any products removed while the transaction remains active will be associated with the payment method used to open the door.

For this reason, before leaving, make sure the door is fully closed and locked.

Once the door is closed, our system will begin processing the purchase and will typically generate the transaction details within 5 to 10 minutes.
