Intuitivo APOPs are designed to provide a fast, simple, and checkout-free shopping experience. You can make purchases at any time using your smartphone or, on some machines, a compatible physical payment card.
How Does It Work?
1. Start Your Purchase
Scan the APOP QR code with your smartphone or tap your payment card if the machine supports card access.
If this is your first purchase using the QR code, you will need to complete a quick registration process and add a payment method.
We recommend providing a valid email address or phone number so you can receive purchase details and transaction information.
2. Unlock the APOP
Follow the on-screen instructions to validate your payment method.
Once the validation is approved, the door will unlock.
You will have up to 14 seconds to open the door. If the door is not opened within that time, it will automatically lock again and the transaction will be canceled for security reasons.
3. Funds Validation
When you start a purchase, a temporary authorization hold is placed on your payment method.
This authorization hold is not the final product charge and is automatically released once the transaction is completed.
In most cases, the hold is released within 5 minutes, although the exact timing depends on your card issuer or bank.
4. Select Your Products
Open the door and take the products you wish to purchase.
You may take one or multiple products during the same transaction.
There is no need to scan products or manually indicate which items you selected. Our Artificial Intelligence technology automatically detects the products removed from the APOP.
Each transaction is linked to the payment method used to unlock the door. Any products removed during that transaction will be charged to the associated payment method.
For this reason, please ensure that no other person removes products while your transaction is active, as any items taken during your session will be charged to your account.
5. Complete Your Purchase
Close the door securely and make sure it locks properly.
Once the door is closed, you may leave without taking any additional action.
Our Artificial Intelligence system will analyze the products removed and automatically process the corresponding charge to your payment method.
Purchase receipts and billing are not immediate. Processing is typically completed within 5 to 10 minutes after the transaction ends.
